The easiest tomato for beginners. Cherry tomatoes are prolific, forgiving, and produce all season. Almost impossible to fail with.
In Zone 9, Cherry Tomato should be planted outdoors Feb 1 – Mar 15, after the average last frost date of approximately Jan 31. Start seeds indoors around Dec 15 – Jan 15 for a head start.

Switch from balanced to high-potassium feed at flowering. Too much nitrogen produces leafy plants with little fruit.
