Bunching onions harvested before they bulb up. Much easier than bulb onions — no day-length concerns, just direct sow and harvest in 60–80 days. Succession sow for year-round supply.
In Zone 7, Spring Onion / Scallion should be planted outdoors Feb 15 – Oct 1, after the average last frost date of approximately Mar 15.

Light, consistent feeding produces tender green tops. Liquid feed every 3 weeks.
Sow every 2 weeks from early spring through summer. Spring onions are quick (60–80 days) and one of the best succession crops — a small row every 2 weeks keeps them coming all season.
